EVENT TO RAISE MONEY AND AWARENESS OF CHILDHOOD HOMELESSNESS

Families in Transition to Hold Fashion Extravaganza Event

Manchester, NH, – Families in Transition will hold its I AM ONE Fashion Extravaganza event on Friday, October 2, at 12:00PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester, NH. The event will help support Families in Transition’s efforts of providing a home and hope for homeless families and individuals.

“The issue of homelessness, especially of children, affects everyone,” said Maureen Beauregard, Families in Transition Founder and President. “This event will be a great way to share with the 400 plus attendees the steps that we are taking to get families off of living on the streets and in their cars and into our new emergency family shelter and resource center that we’re building in the heart of Manchester. And, like all of our events, the energy in the room will be high and lots of fun will be had.”
The, sold-out, I AM ONE Fashion Extravaganza event is co-chaired by Kriss Blevins and Sedra Michaelson. It will include a fashion show with local “celebrity” models donning clothing donated by businesses and individuals for sale in OutFITters Thrift Stores, music, lunch, live auction item of a chance to be a character in an upcoming Jodi Picoult book, and more. Clothing featured in the show will be on sale the following day at OutFITters Thrift Stores in Manchester and Concord, NH.
Event sponsors include Binnie Media, Spectrum Marketing Companies, Intown Manchester, Comcast, Anagnost Companies, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, INSP, and Statement Boutique.
