FIT participants develop the tools leading to economic independence and heightened self-esteem. A wide range of programs makes FIT a new beginning toward permanent housing.

Range of Services

Family Willows Intensive Outpatient Program

For homeless women with co-occurring substance abuse and trauma. Participants go through a 5 stage recovery model. Stabilizing, Discovering, Connection, Strengthening and Nurturing.

  • Five to twenty-six week treatment program
  • Treatment coordination
  • Individual therapy
  • Substance abuse and trauma programming
  • Addictions programming
  • Parenting programming
  • Daycare as necessary
  • Transportation as necessary

Weekly home-based meetings for counseling and case management

Weekly educational workshops and support groups

Develop individual goals to address needs in the areas of:

  • Healthcare
  • Parenting
  • Budget maintenance
  • Emotional well being
  • Employment and housing

Referrals to community social service agencies and professionals

On-site health clinic
