Donor Advised Fund

A Donor-Advised Fund, or DAF, is a philanthropic vehicle established at a public charity. The DAF allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then recommend grants from the fund over time. An easy way to think about a DAF is like a charitable savings account: a donor contributes to the fund as often as they like and then recommends grants to their favorite charity when ready.

Use the DAF Direct to directly recommend a grant to Families in Transition from your Donor-Advised Fund (Fidelity Charitable or Schwab Charitable) today. Use the drop down bottom below to select your Fund, write in the donation designation and the amount. When you click “Next”, you will be taken to the login page of your DAF at the selected sponsoring organization to finish the recommendation process.

Do you have a DAF through another Charitable Fund and would like to recommend a grant to Families in Transition? Contact the Resource Development office at [email protected] or call 603-641-1143 ext. 324.
