Douglas Street Supportive Housing Program
FIT Announces New Program for Homeless Men with Disabilities

The Douglas Street Permanent Supportive Housing Program
will provide single room occupancy for nine homeless single
men with disabilities.
Families in Transition is pleased to announce an expansion of housing and services. The Douglas Street Permanent Supportive Housing Program comprises nine single room units for occupancy by homeless men with disabilities, a population that often experiences months, and in some cases years, living in shelters, transitional housing or on the streets. This new facility will provide Families in Transition an opportunity to work with these men in a safe, supportive environment with a goal of creating life-advancing opportunities. This will be the first time that Families in Transition serves this unique population.
