Girl Scouts Collecting Pajamas For Kids in Need

Donations can be dropped off at the Amherst Town Library and Amherst Congregational Church.

Help local kids have a warm, comfortable nights sleep with a new pair of pajamas.

Members of Girl Scout Troop 10367 have placed donation boxes in town to collect new pajamas for children served by Families In Transition.

The boxs can be found in the Amherst Town Library and the Amherst Congregational Church. Please make sure the clothing is new and will fit boys and girls aged 2-13.

The collection is being organized by scouts Eliza Mastergeorge, Maggie Cissel and Holly Rohlfsends. It is a part of an effort to earn their Bronze Award, which requires them to work for 20 hours to help something worthwhile.

The donation boxes will be in place until March. 31.
