CONCORD, NHPicture yourself in the Garment District of New York City, with racks of clothing rolling down the sidewalk. On Tuesday, December 11, this will be happening in downtown Concord as local business Lilise Designer Resale donates high-end clothing to OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique. All proceeds generated at OutFITters help house homeless families and individuals in Concord and Manchester through the organization Families in Transition.

As part of an informal, ongoing partnership, Lilise donates merchandise to OutFITters after it has been on their racks for over 60 days. This will mark Lilise’s sixth donation to OutFITters.

“Our consignors very much appreciate the mission of Families in Transition,” said Lilise owner Ellen Lessard. “They take comfort in knowing that after the consignment period, they can decide to donate any of their unsold designer garments to a great cause.”

“We are so grateful for this relationship with Lilise,” said OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique Retail Manager Matt Teichman. “The high-end, designer clothing they have donated are some of our shoppers’ favorite items. It is especially nice to find these gems around the holiday season.”

Lilise opened in August 2011 to provide central NH with availability to high-end designer labels at a reasonable price.
