CITYSIDE MANAGEMENT CORPORATION AWARDS FAMILIES IN TRANSITION SECOND DONATION FOR ITS FAMILY PLACE RESOURCE CENTER AND SHELTER
An Opportunity for Homeless Children and Their Families
MANCHESTER, NH – Families in Transition – New Horizons (FIT), a Manchester, Concord and Dover, NH, based homeless services provider, received a second donation from Cityside Management Corporation towards the construction costs of the organizations new emergency family shelter and resource center in Manchester. Cityside’s most recent donation of $25,000 was made through the Community Development Finance Authority’s (CDFA) Tax Credit Program. In total, Cityside Management Corporation has donated $55,000 towards the $2.1 million project.
The FIT Family Place Resource Center and Shelter will help meet the growing need for emergency shelter for families in the Queen City. Once complete, the facility will also include other service providers so that the families at the shelter will have access to critical health care, employment assistance, specialized therapeutic child care, and guaranteed nutritious meals.
“At Cityside, we see on a daily basis how vitally important safe shelter and housing are to people,” said Chris Dolloff, Cityside Management Corporation President and CEO. “We’re so happy to support Families in Transition – New Horizons financially because they provide not only safe housing for struggling families, but also teach their clients life skills, giving them the tools needed for getting back on track to economic and emotional independence. We can think of no better way to give something back to our communities here in New Hampshire.”

Our goal is to ensure that families experiencing homelessness are able to quickly and easily access the services that they need to regain housing stability and long-term wellness.”
Families in Transition – New Horizons is actively fundraising for the project and is need of raising an additional $440,000, of which $320,000 are NH State Tax Credits for any business with a tax liability in New Hampshire.
