AmeriCorps VISTA 9/11 Service Day

To commemorate the events of 9/11, the New Hampshire Catholic Charities, Families in Transition, CADCA VetCorps, NCCC and Campus Compact VISTA Programs joined together on September 9th for a day of service at the New Hampshire’s Food Bank’s Community Garden. Over 100 VISTAs gathered to put forth a team effort to make nutritious food available to the one in nine people who are food insecure across the state.

Families in Transition hosted their 8th annual cinco de mayo celebration on May 2, 2013. Thank you to all of the sponsors, attendees, and supporters who helped make this a fabulous fiesta!

Dover Grand Opening (February 6, 2013)

We held a grand opening for Families in Transition--Dover on February 6, 2013. The property will house single, low-income women beginning in March. Thank you Citizens Bank, New Hampshire Housing, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce for your support!

Dover Renovations (November & December 2012)

Families in Transition purchased a new property in Dover, NH designed to house single, low-income women after renovations. Thank you to the volunteers that helped clean and paint the new property!
