OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique Supporter/Donor Grand Opening
OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique first opened its doors in Bicentennial Square, Concord, in 2009. The Boutique has since then gained tremendous success in the Concord Community, much like that of the flagship OutFITters Thrift Store in Manchester, and soon outgrew its space. The project to expand and relocate the store to a bigger location began in 2010 when Families in Transition – New Horizons received a $277,125 state tax credit award from the Community Development Finance Authority. After over a year of fundraising and planning, the new OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique has a new home on Concord’s Main Street.
Representatives from the Community Development Finance Authority; Concord community representatives; Board of Directors members, volunteers and staff of Families in Transition – New Horizons and OutFITters Thrift Stores.
Project funders and developers who supported the Boutique’s expansion and relocation will celebrate the grand opening of the store’s new location with a short program and light refreshments.
