Thrift store opens house

Families in Transition – New Horizons’s Concord thrift store wants to celebrate its new digs.

The OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique, which moved from Bicentennial Square to open Dec. 31 in its new space at 20-20.5 S. Main St., will hold a grand opening Friday and Saturday.

During its normal hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., customers will be offered refreshments and a chance to enter a raffle to win a video camera or two tickets to the Feb. 2 Boston Bruins-Carolina Hurricanes game at the TD Garden, the group said in a news release.

“We’ve been open for a few weeks and already customers who come into the new store are blown away by the size of the store, quality of items that we sell, and the breadth of products that they can find,” said Michele Talwani, the nonprofit’s director of economic development and marketing, in the release.
