How Your Gift Helps
Today, the Families in Transition organization is a product of two unbelievable organizations with a long and rich history of service in the New Hampshire community. Our emergency shelter and food pantry’s founding story starts in 1973 with the New Horizons organization and overlaps with the start of our dedicated housing programs and Families in Transition brand in 1991. These two impactful organizations joined forces in 2018 and moved forward under the Families in Transition name. Providing more than 200 affordable housing units and an array of dedicated services, we are working as one to overcome homelessness and hunger.
What is the Mission of Families in Transition?
