Substances can be used as an escape from homelessness for some or can be a root cause of housing instability for others.

Providing care and support for people with substance use disorder, Families in Transition offers specialized treatment programs for anyone in the community who struggles with substance use and mental health disorders.

Anyone seeking substance use treatment or recovery housing can call our Willows intake line at 603.641.9441 x401 for an appointment. Our substance use treatment professionals will assess your needs and suggest a program suited for you or make a referral to another program that best meets your needs.

Client Assessments

Individuals seeking substance use treatment meet with our counselors to assess their needs and determine their necessary level of care. We specialize in providing evidence-based practices to address substance use disorders as well as mental health and trauma to support overall wellness and recovery. We break down barriers so each person receives effective treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Services

Through our Intensive Outpatient programs, individuals receive individual therapy and case management to address the individual’s unique goals while in treatment. This phase of treatment allows participants to maintain their daily responsibilities such as parenting and employment while addressing their substance use and mental health.

Outpatient Services

Participants in our Outpatient programs focus on maintaining their recovery and building concrete skills that support a healthy lifestyle. Staff support participants in recognizing and understanding the effects of substance use and trauma on their lives and families.

Recovery-Specific Housing

Recovery housing provides a safe and supportive environment to build a foundation for recovery. Individuals live in substance-free settings and engage in peer support programs and other services to overcome the barriers to living a life in recovery. We offer recovery housing in Manchester, NH in conjunction with recovery services at our Willows Treatment Center to aid clients in their journey.
