Recovery Housing

Promoting long-term recovery in a substance-free living environment

Recovery housing provides people who are working to overcome challenges with substance use, including alcohol and other drugs, a safe and supportive environment to build a foundation for recovery. Individuals live in a substance-free setting and engage in peer support programs and other services to overcome the barriers to living a happy and productive life.

Stable housing is vital to fostering success in recovery and preventing factors that lead to homelessness. Substance use can often lead to criminality, lack of income, poor rental history, limited education, and minimal work history. As a result, many people have difficulty securing housing, leading to persistent challenges in maintaining their recovery.

With flexible and supportive recovery-focused housing, individuals are less likely to face recurring issues impacting their families and their own well-being. Families in Transition offers recovery housing in Manchester, NH alongside outpatient recovery services and substance use treatment at our Willows Treatment Center. Our goal is to aid clients in their recovery journey.
