Each year, after the fall weather settles in New England and the leaves turn into that familiar but unique multicolored display, families are thinking about costumes, trick or treating, and candy. And people in Concord, NH, are usually thinking about their next Wicked FIT adventure.

Since 2011, our family-friendly 5k run/walk has brought hundreds to gather in the Capital City. Wonder Woman, witches, bananas, dinosaurs, and the like all show up at the starting line to raise awareness and support for homeless services in their community and around the state.

This year we would be gathering for the celebration of the tenth annual Wicked FIT Run. However, after much deliberation, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the event. After a challenging year for coordinating events, the team will focus on the Annual Breakfast, our other fall event.

In the nine years of the Wicked FIT Run, we hosted more than 4,200 runners and walkers and raised more than $325,000 for programs and services. That’s a lot of support for families and individuals in need!

We greatly appreciate all the families, individuals, and organizations who made this event possible through their generosity. While there will be no event this Halloween, our work in Concord and around the state will go on.

We operate 16 affordable housing units and support an additional 16 apartments in the community through our re-housing program in the Concord area. Families and individuals receive case management services to guide them in their journey and enable long-term housing stability. This work will continue.

For those of you who have supported this event through the years, please consider making a gift in honor of the Wicked FIT Run.
