Art Jam Riverside aims to raise thousands for recovery programs

An event that aims to raise thousands of dollars for people in recovery was held in Manchester on Saturday.
Art Jam Riverside took over Arms Park. There was live music and more than 70 local artists showing off their work.
Last year’s event raised $23,000 for Families in Transition – New Horizons and Hope for New Hampshire Recovery. Organizers hoped to raise even more this year.
“The art that’s around here is absolutely amazing, so we’re really featuring the local talent around here and that’s what’s awesome because at the same time we’re raising money to fight the opioid crisis,” said Marga Bessette of WZID.
The event was sponsored by WZID and Hannaford Supermarkets.
