The Board of Directors for New Hampshire’s leading housing and homeless services provider elects Roy Tilsley as Chair along with the 2022 executive committee and new board appointments.

Manchester, NH (January 31, 2022) – The Board of Directors for Families in Transition selected Roy Tilsley as its Chair and made changes to their executive committee along with a new board member appointment. Roy was appointed as the Chair after previously serving as a member of the board and as the Vice-Chair to former Chair, Scott Ellison.

“I’ve worked closely with Roy in my role with the board following the 2018 merger,” said former Families in Transition board of directors Chair, Scott Ellison. “Roy has a deep level of commitment to the community and is poised to carry forward the vision and mission of the organization.”

The selection of Roy Tilsley comes after several years of service to the mission of the organization. Roy served as Vice-Chair for 2 years preceding his role as Chair and previously served as a long-time board member of New Horizons before the two organizations merged in 2018.

Additionally, Heather Whitfield, Sr. Vice President, People’s United Bank, will serve as Vice-Chair after 5 years of service to the board along with Treasurer Frank Saglio, CPA and Partner at Karr & Boucher, and Secretary, Kristi Scarpone, Director of Corporate Relations & Field Development Strategy at FIRST. Former board Chairs Scott Ellison, Partner at Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, and Dick Anagnost, President of Anagnost Investments, Inc., will continue to serve as part of the executive committee. Susan Harrington, Chief Financial Officer of Brewster Academy was newly appointed as a member of the board in 2022.
