Manchester and Concord Store Locations to Celebrate with Nine Days of Sales

MANCHESTER, NH – OutFITters Thrift Stores are owned and operated by Families in Transition – New Horizons (FIT), with 100% of store proceeds benefiting the agency, providing a home and hope to homeless families and individuals in New Hampshire. The first OutFITters Thrift Store was started in Manchester, NH, in the fall of 2002 and has since expanded into Concord, NH. The 15th Anniversary kick-off celebration will be held on Thursday, October 12, in both stores, and will include scratch off tickets from 15% up to 100%* off purchases (*up to $100), birthday cake, and raffle prizes to area restaurants.

Everything the store sells has been donated by individuals and businesses. Merchandise includes high quality high quality, fashionable clothing for the whole family, furniture, housewares, and more. Together the stores generate over $100,000 in sales and revenue annually to support FIT’s housing and programs.

“Before we started the stores, FIT was receiving so many generous donations and we just didn’t have the capacity to store or distribute them in a way that made sense,” comments Maureen Beauregard, FIT’s President and Founder. “We decided to open the stores and expand into social entrepreneurship to help create a more sustainable method of funding for the housing and programs that FIT provides.”

The 15th Anniversary Celebration and eight additional days of sales will be happening at both store locations; 394 Second St., Manchester and 20 S. Main St., Concord, NH.
