Public encouraged to donate to ‘Toy Tower’ at Beacon Building in Manchester

MANCHESTER — People are encouraged to donate unwrapped toys and help build the Toy Tower at the Beacon Building at 814 Elm St.

People who donate can come to an evening of live music by Clint LaPointe, as well as appetizers and drinks from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 16 to celebrate the completion of the Toy Tower.

People can also visit the Beacon Building at other times to drop off toys in the atrium.

The toys will benefit Families in Transition – New Horizons; Girls, Inc.; McDonough, Hallsville, Gossler Park and Northwest Elementary Schools for families in need.
