Karen serves as Controller for Families in Transition, working within the Finance Department.

Before joining Families in Transition in March of 2026, Karen worked in several not-for-profit organizations as well as private for-profit corporations where she served in multiple finance capacities.

Karen has a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She brings over 35 years of experience supporting strong financial stewardship and accountability.

Karen has three dogs, Tide, Leo and Bowie, and when she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son, hot yoga and bowling.
